Recorded in Nippon Budokan (Tokyo), Festival Hall (Osaka), and Yokohama Stadium. The original sources are the live recordings of “Aurex Jazz Festival” in Japan in September 1982.
“Invitation” is a 1983 album by Jaco Pastorius, an American jazz bass player/composer/arranger known for his innovative playing of fretless electric bass, such as heavy use of harmonics and virtuoso bass shredding, and his Word of Mouth Big Band.
