In 1983, a compilation album “Invitation”, which contains excerpts from “Twins I” and “Twins II”, was released worldwide by Warner Bros. In Japan, these live recordings were released as two live albums, “Twins I” and “Twins II” by Warner-Pioneer Corporation in 1982. Recorded in Nippon Budokan (Tokyo), Festival Hall (Osaka), and Yokohama Stadium. The original sources are the live recordings of “Aurex Jazz Festival” in Japan in September 1982.

“Invitation” is a 1983 album by Jaco Pastorius, an American jazz bass player/composer/arranger known for his innovative playing of fretless electric bass, such as heavy use of harmonics and virtuoso bass shredding, and his Word of Mouth Big Band.
